Why I...Get the Picture

My philosophy is that photos are meant to be affordable so they can be enjoyed and shared. After countless hours of photographing my childrens’ sporting events, commercial layouts, family and senior portraits as well as natural and wildlife stills, I have turned a hobby into a part time profession.

I started taking sports photos in 1995, when my five year old son was playing t-ball. It was something I enjoyed doing and it was a great way to preserve that particular time in his childhood. Since then I have taken photos from the sidelines of High School, Middle School and ​Elementary Basketball Courts; Football fields, Soccer fields, Lacrosse fields and Baseball diamonds as well as the sidelines of both the Oregon State Beavers Football and Baseball teams. I was privileged to shoot at the 2007 College World Series. I freelance for some local news publications, and have photographed for the Sisters Rodeo Association.

I believe photos should be affordable, and have created a photography company around that philosophy. Anyone can take snapshots, but, I will provide you high quality, professional photos you can enjoy for many years, at an affordable price. Because I... Get the Picture.
